They work really well together, including when you’re preparing for an assessment.
The Self-Identification Program gives you a detailed understanding of the autistic neurotype. Through explanations of the criteria, everyday examples and guided reflection, it helps you recognise experiences and patterns in yourself that you may not previously have had words for, or even thought to mention. That can be incredibly useful preparation for an assessment.
The Prep Pack focuses on what you do with that understanding. It helps you recall examples, organise your notes, explain your experiences and prepare for the appointment. Its shorter Masterclass does not cover the autistic neurotype in the same depth as the Self-ID Program.
You might start with Self-ID and then use the Prep Pack to bring everything together. Or the Prep Pack might help you notice things you want to understand more deeply, leading you to Self-ID.
You can also use the Self-ID Program purely for your own understanding, without ever pursuing formal assessment.
